The Bubble Room Captiva Island Florida

Picture of the Bubble Room

The Bubble Room should be part of every authentic Captiva Island trip. It is a place that is so different that you get drawn into another little world.

Some call it a little bit of Hollywood. Others a combination of a toy store and Christmas. But the kitchen is what makes it attractive and turns it into a memorable experience like no other restaurant in Southwest Florida. Here is how to make your dining adventure into part of your healthy lifestyle routine.

Healthy Lunch At the Bubble Room

There are some healthy and fun choices for your visit at lunch time where you can eat outside and enjoy the fresh island air.

Calypso At Midnight

Green spring salad with apples and blue cheese. Make sure to order it without the sugared walnuts.

Tutti-Frutti O`Rudi

Great appetizer bowl with strawberries, grapes, pineapples, oranges, cantaloupe for your daily portion of vitamins during your stay in Florida.

Healthy Dinner At the Bubble Room

Here are some healthy dining options for your dinner.

Million Dollar Mermaid Salad

A cobb salad with grilled shrimp, scallops and ahi tuna gives you a boost with omega 3 that will boost your brain and mood!

Smoke Gets in Your Eyes

Grilled fish (catch of the day) with veggies – great for your metabolism if you skip the starch offered!

Watch out for Desserts at the Bubble Room

The desserts are breathtaking – especially their cakes – like the Red Velvet Cake that will melt in your mouth. But you might want to check how the desserts fit into your healthy lifestyle choices. Maybe one piece of cake for the entire family?

Feeling Joyful Like A Kid

The positive emotions people are experiencing while visiting the Bubble Room Captiva are super healthy.

You will see puppets, a train circling the restaurant at ceiling level, toys and antiques, vintage photos of movie stars from the 40’s and 50’s, doll houses and a tunnel of love. The table where you eat is a shadow-box table with period toys and dolls under glass. Kids love eating at the Bubble room and the kids menu offers steamed broccoli which is a wonderful kid friendly, healthy choice.

What You Need To Know Before Going To the Bubble Room

Restaurant is open daily 11.00-3.00 and 4.30-9.00 p.m. The dress is casual so wear what you like but don`t be surprised that the wait staff are dressed as boy scouts and girl scouts.

The restaurant is located at the 15001 Captiva Drive right beside the Fire Station and across from the Island Store. As Captiva Drive is the only major road on the island you can’t miss it. Just look for a colorful building that looks like a candy store full of happiness and that will be the Bubble Room. You can reach them by telephone at 239 472 5558 – especially if you come with a larger group!
